MoveOn

This is an anti-war PAC which is quite strong across the US. It is usually less critical of people in the establishment than groups such as Code Pink. When it actually did question the ethics of David Petraeus the establishment strongly condemned it. MoveOn does cooperate with other organizations, despite usually refraining from controversy.

Often the group is called MoveOn.Org.

International ANSWER

International ANSWER is an umbrella group opposing US imperialism. It is a main organizer of large anti-war demonstrations in the US.

Some elements of the group are militant, and this has caused some people to distance themselves from ANSWER. For the most part the coalition is focused on positive change. ANSWER events have enough radical elements that it is probably best to avoid bringing junior activists. More experienced activists will be able to pick and choose what is good about the events and ignore portions which are potentially negative.
